Fred Hotel Leonhardstrasse (Zürich, Switzerland)

The hotel is ideally located in the city centre of Zurich, in a very walkable area of town. You'll have excellent public transportation connexions to the rest of the city, with a tram stop conveniently right outside the hotel, and the Hauptbahnhof (Main Train Station) only steps away. From the train station, you can easily reach the airport as well as other interesting neighbouring cities. Shopping is also only steps away, either on the upscale Bahnhofstrasse, or Old Town. You'll also find many great dining spots as you head into town.

If you're looking for a peaceful spot to relax, don't miss the hotel's garden area. It's a small, relaxing place to unwind with a cup of coffee.

Overall, guests were quite pleased with their rooms here. According to recent reviews, they are clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. There are also lots of modern amenities provided to make sure you feel at home. Guests especially appreciated the fast Wi-Fi, and having a coffee maker or kettle in their rooms.

Guests found it a bit peculiar that the triple and quadruple occupancy rooms were not properly equipped for three or four people. There were only two cups and two towels provided despite the number of guests. Expect that you'll have to call for extra items.

Some of the rooms, even the comfort rooms, are quite small, as is the shower.

Breakfast here has not been up to the Swiss standards, with most guests describing it as mediocre. Fortunately, the hotel is reopening new dining facilities so the buffet may improve with the update.
