Hotel ibis Zürich Messe Airport (Zürich, Switzerland)

The hotel is on the direct outskirts of the neighbourhood next to the airport, which guests who had to catch a flight found very convenient. There is also a bus stop right outside the hotel which will connect you to a train station nearby, making it easy to explore Zurich.

Guests felt they received a good value for the money. The rooms are modern and clean. The air conditioning works well and the beds are described as comfortable. Guests had no trouble with the Wi-Fi reception. Bathrooms have been described as spacious.

Many guests received good customer service here. The staff is friendly and will gladly answer questions about the area, give you directions as needed and arrange for your luggage to be stored. The staff is well versed in English so there were no communication problems.

Guests felt that the breakfast was overpriced. Though it is an all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet guests did not feel that the value for money was good. Food is generally expensive in Switzerland, and there are not really any other breakfast options in close vicinity.

Guests sometimes had to wait a while for the shuttle to come around, as it only makes the trip once every hour and is not on-demand. You can always call a cab and let them take you to the hotel if you  would rather get there instead of waiting.

Guests were often not happy about the lack of amenities which are standard in other hotel chains, such as a coffee maker, kettle or a fridge.
