Positive Reviews
positive:
A sensitive location
For those visiting the Masjid Nabawi, this hotel provides the best location to the women's entrance. If travelling with females, it provides for their quickest and safest route to that area in the mosque. The main entrance of the hotel is also facing away from the busiest part of the heavily-trafficked area, making it more convenient for coming and going.
positive:
Rooms are a good base
The rooms are both spacious and comfortable. The triple accommodations can sleep several more, up to five persons, with special request. The bathrooms comes with complimentary toiletries that can be restocked, upon request.
positive:
Restaurant meets all the needs
The restaurant and cafe onsite will meet all the food needs, from breakfast through dinner and even snacks. There are menu options and an international buffet. The prices are reasonable. Considering there are not many restaurants in the area, this fills the need.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Irregular cleaning
Cleaning is not performed on a regular basis. If you are staying for more than one night, you will have to call and request the service as often as you need it performed.
negative:
5-star might have a different meaning
The hotel advertises itself as a "5-star", but the accommodations are definitely not in the luxury category. The rooms are functional, but provide no extras. There are few amenities. During busy times, some triple rooms seem more like dorms with multiple persons in a room and no other space.
negative:
Caters to their guests
The hotel is catered towards those attending local mosques. Services can vary, depending on mosque and religious schedules. During busier times, the hotel is stretched thin in staff. Also, the staff is only Arabic-speaking, so other language speakers will have a difficult time.
