Review summary
Summarized by AI from 800+ reviews
A charming historic inn for travelers seeking coastal character.
This traditional property welcomes sightseers and pet owners into a vibrant, historic setting. The central location in Fowey pairs with a dog-friendly policy that extends throughout the common areas and dining spaces. Guests frequently praise the standout culinary offerings, particularly the hearty fish pie, though those sensitive to noise may prefer requesting a room away from the pub’s evening entertainment. The property’s charming, quirky layout and period features provide an authentic atmosphere for those looking to immerse themselves in the local culture of this scenic village.
Some guests mentioned: narrow street access, inconsistent service, variable mattress comfort.
