Macdonald Aviemore Woodland Lodges

The woodland lodges offer a unique and memorable "home from home" experience, providing spacious and comfortable accommodations that are particularly well-suited for families, groups of friends, and couples seeking a private and relaxed getaway. Guests frequently highlight the overall comfort and cleanliness of the lodges, appreciating the ample space available. While many find the setting delightful, some note that the decor and furnishings in certain lodges appear dated and could benefit from modernization. The resort's central location in Aviemore is a significant draw, offering easy access to the surrounding area. To ensure the best experience, guests might consider confirming specific kitchen amenities if extensive self-catering is planned, as some lodges have limited cooking facilities. Additionally, being prepared for varying levels of staff proactivity can help manage expectations.
