The Southbridge Hotel (Singapore, Singapore)

The hotel enjoys a fantastic location in the heart of Chinatown and in Singapore's central business district making this the perfect place for business travellers or if you are staying here for pleasure then the Mass Rapid Transportation Station is around a five minute walk away and from here you can get to everything that Singapore has to offer, furthermore located near to the hotel there are also many different shops, bars and restaurants.

The staff here are fantastic and will always go out of their way to help you in order that you have an enjoyable stay here. This includes giving advice on what there is to see and do in the area and many guests have reported that they have received complimentary drinks in the bar and discounted food in the restaurant.

There is a really nice, relaxed ambience in the Whisky Bar which is a really nice place to hang out with friends and enjoy a few drinks and there is often live music here for you to enjoy along with the massive range of whiskies and craft beers available from all around the world.

Some previous guests were disappointed at the size of the rooms and felt really cramped and hemmed in, especially those who just had a small window or even no window at all.

The walls are reportedly quite thin and it is possible to hear fellow guests in neighbouring rooms, when they are walking along the corridor or when doors are being opened and closed.

Rooms are not always cleaned to the standards you would expect and the beds are not always made up properly which again is something you would expect in any hotel.
