Review summary

Summarized by AI from 700+ reviews

A scenic, historic retreat for nature-loving travelers.

This property welcomes families and couples seeking a peaceful escape within a picturesque setting overlooking Lake Siljan. The hotel’s idyllic destination pairs with wellness facilities that include a heated outdoor pool and a relaxing spa area. Guests frequently praise the exquisite, homemade quality of the breakfast buffet, and those seeking extra space should consider booking one of the property's more spacious suites. While the atmosphere is charming, the inconsistent service and varying room conditions mean the experience can fluctuate depending on the specific room or staff member encountered.

Some guests mentioned: inconsistent service, dated furnishings, noise disturbances.
