Review summary

Summarized by AI from 100+ reviews

This hotel's signature feature is its exceptional location in the vibrant Parnell area, making it a prime choice for guests seeking easy access to a wide array of restaurants, cafes, and shops. It is particularly well-suited for sightseers and explorers due to its proximity to key attractions and public transport links, and offers good value for budget travelers. While some guests praise the helpfulness of the staff, many report significant issues with the unmanned reception and overall service. The hotel's condition and cleanliness receive highly mixed reviews, with numerous complaints about dated rooms and maintenance issues, though some found their rooms clean. Noise from other guests and external sources is a frequent concern. To ensure a smoother stay, guests should be prepared for a remote check-in process and consider bringing their own extra amenities like pillows or toiletries.
