Review summary
Summarized by AI from 1,000+ reviews
This hotel is a charming and unique retreat ideal for sightseers, couples, and luxury travelers seeking a distinctive experience. Its prime location directly adjacent to the Kendall/MIT Red Line T stop offers unparalleled access to both Boston and Harvard Square. The property's unique firehouse theme and historical decor, coupled with cozy common areas, create a welcoming "home away from home" ambiance. Guests consistently praise the exceptional staff and the delicious, extensive breakfast buffet, which often exceeds expectations. For the best experience, consider requesting a room on a higher floor for potentially quieter surroundings, as some rooms can be affected by outside noise if windows are open due to temperature control issues.
